    ……..“ Today we face the

    task of preventing another long

period of exile, which will determine

    whether the recent period in

government was a blip or part of a

    Trend. ”……

    David

    X Factor Politics and IDS

The natural economic trend is a rise and fall in prosperity
    under a gold standard mechanism.
The recent period of success was merely (as you well know)
a figment of a doctored system creating an expansion in the money supply
and inflation of asset values ; not a blip, but the impeding of cyclical  blips.

Today in the occupy movement they are talking about Socialism ;Marxism
whatever ! As if they have failed to grasp history .
They cannot see that Marxism was a utopian project, as too ,is global laissez faire .

You talk about social values but the global free market conspires against
    social cohesion.
It is not a coincidence that the USA and the UK have more of its
citizens in prison than any other countries.

This is indicative  of social control, not an inclination for social wellbeing.
It is a policy of locking up any social transgressors  with the arrogance
of a system awash with borrowed money. You can define this transgression as anyone falling foul of more and moresocial control legislation.
The global free market has ripped up communities and marginalised
individuals and created criminals, by dint of misfortune, created by bogus political
infrastructure. But ,of course, it is the people to blame , not the political system !
And so, we have to listen to the  tabloid politic of  Conservative  puppet
Ian Duncan Smith  who blames the recent riots on “The X factor” and footballerslife-styles.
He claims diminished values  in social aspiration !
What about the diminished values of some politicians who, manifestly and
publicly, were seen to be squandering tax payers money in profligate,  decadent
personal spending ?  Never was their a better example of “something for nothing”
than  the leverage on tax payers ,for  personal fulfilment , by many  politicians. And when I say “many” I mean gross accounting malfeasance , corruption ; inherent and widespread.

We do not need to be patronised by IDS .
He wants us to believe in the great and the good
of political institutions  and the inherent infirmities of the lowly public.

He hasn’t got the courage or the guts to take responsibility
because he needs his “whiter than white” institutional  face
to  put a moral backbone in his hypocritical  justice system.Global laissez faire ; the erosion of western manufacturing and the inherent instability of the money markets are the culprits of social instability ; not The X Factor .

So we have a competition. Spot the possessive pronoun typo in the two examples below.
